The Pied Crow is a Common Bird in Malawi

The Pied Crow is a common bird in Malawi.

"Khwangwala" is the word for crow in chichewa.
The crow is the subject of many folktales in Malawi.
"Khwangwala wa mantha, anafa ndi ukalamba,"
translation, "The cautious crow died of old age."
What do you think that means?

Canterio International was founded in 2006 in memory of Moses Imasuen who passed away in 2004 after a long battle with cancer. When Moses retired he dedicated his life to education and charity work in Africa. Canterio International's aim is to carry on this tradition. In 2008 Canterio International was expanded to include a branch in the United States. Canterio's goal is to fight malnutrition and to increase the capacity for education amongst orphans of the HIV/AIDS crisis and vulnerable children in poor African countries
