Animal Husbandry Farm Project - Curriculum & Food

Our Animal Husbandry Farm Project was started in Nsalu Village.
The Malimbe School chose to raise pigs and plan to include other live stock
The Malimbe School chose to raise pigs and plan to include other live stock
as soon as they create space to secure the animals.
Students will be utilizing the animal husbandry curriculum
developed and donated by the 4-H Club of Massachusetts.
The project will help teach the orphans a trade and, since
nutrition is instrumental in learning, some
of the animals will be used to feed them while at school.

Canterio's goal is to fight malnutrition and to increase the capacity for education amongst orphans of the HIV/AIDS crisis and vulnerable children in poor African countries
